Eames Chairs Design

Charles and Ray Eames spent many years experimenting with new processes for optimizing the way three-dimensionally molded plywood fits the contours of the body. The LCW designed chair for a comfortable body posture is among the best possible options they developed.

The LCW is very much the representative Eames design and provided the template for their later works, not least their Lounge and Ottoman set. Another work of art from the two designers was the Charles Eames Style DSR Dining Chair.

This classic piece has a welded wire base supporting a high back sculpted shell with deep seat pocket.  A supremely comfortable dining chair a waterfall edge adding to the long term sitting experience. The purity of design to the DSR dining chair offers a simple elegant contrast to most dining tables, old or new.
